Bronte Harbour Yacht Club hosts Ontario's largest Visually Impaired Learn to Sail Program. This course runs in late June and is entirely led by volunteers. Participants learn the fundamentals of sailing on 30 foot keel boats, seamanship basics, and some basic racing techniques. The week ends with a race.
GET OUT ON THE WATER
Our program hosts people from all over the GTA joining members at BHYC for five days of education and fun on the waters of Lake Ontario. The program includes a cruise to Fifty Point Marina and a day of racing. Participants learn the fundamentals of sailing on 30-foot keel boats, seamanship basics, and some introductory racing techniques.
