About Us

Bronte Harbour Yacht Club is a community-based organization committed to the enjoyment of on-the-water sporting and recreational activities including sailing, power boating and paddling. Located at the mouth of Bronte Creek in charming and historic Bronte Village, we offer a range of recreational activities, learn to sail programs, club racing and year-round social events in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.

BHYC Membership Information

BHYC offers a range of membership options. Everyone is welcome - no experience required! All memberships include full access to clubhouse and facilities, clubs, and year round social events. Full details and fees available on the website.

Membership Type Includes*
Senior: Sail and power boat owners Club racing and regattas, cruising & visitor access to reciprocal clubs, year-round social events, winter storage, access to launch ramp, dry sail and mast crane, discounted learn to sail programs and club rentals
Associate:  Canoe, kayak, paddle board or non-boat owners Boat storage, visitor access to reciprocal clubs, discounted learn to sail programs and club rentals
Intermediate: affordable membership for boat owners ages 18-35 Club racing and regattas, cruising & visitor access to reciprocal clubs, year-round social events, winter storage, access to launch ramp, dry sail and mast crane, discounted learn to sail programs and club rentals
Junior: affordable membership for dinghy sailors ages 11-18 Club racing and regattas, access to launch ramp; kayak and storage
Social Member Discounted club rentals

*All memberships include full year-round access to clubhouse and facilities (including patio and bbq’s), and invitations to social events, parties and clubs (e.g. darts; knit, stitch & craft)
