Boats Looking for Crew

Defiant II, a C&C 33, is looking for additional crew to assist with Spinnaker work for Club Racing (Tuesday's and Thursday's) and some Regattas.  Preference would be given to experienced Crew but we are willing to learn and train together. We look forward to adding to the existing compliment of scoundrels and renegades that enjoy beer, rum and each other's company.  Please call Chris Burcher @ (905) 320-8460 or by e-mail @ cburcher@jbmh.com

If you are looking for a full season of racing, in white sail, I'd be happy to talk to you. We race both Tuesdays and Thursdays in the evenings, so if these fit into your schedule please give me a call and let's chat.  -- Alan Ford  416 695 1092 (you can leave a message here as well)  416 557 3251 (cell)

Competitive boat, BETWEEN THE SHEETS, needs young crew who are willing to learn and keep alert to contribute to the sailing of the boat. Doing all club races and most regattas. Zoom, a Tripp 26 is looking for crew. We race Tuesday and Thursday nights and do most of the regattas on weekends including Youngstown Levels. You don't need to know how to sail, just a desire to learn and we can teach you the "ropes. Email Mark at tripp26zoom@gmail.com

The crew of Heart Breaker (S2 9.1) is looking to add to its mixed team. Experience is preferred but there may also positions for the willing to learn. We look for: enthusiasm, commitment, and most importantly a good fit with the existing crew. For the current season we intend to race in all club series: Tuesday, Thursday, and Fall. Crew positions are available for: 1, 2, or all series. Heart Breaker will also be doing some weekend regattas and events, as well as some overnights, if you wish to try that out as well. We leave the dock between 6:20 & 6:30pm.

Crew Looking for Boats

Learned to race last year on Lake Superior out of Thunder Bay. Raced extensively on a competitive J41 as bowman. Looking for a similar experience where I can learn more about sailing, meet good people, have fun and win some races! Contact me at lukas.k51@gmail.com or 519-591-8495

I am looking to crew this summer. I took my CYA Basic a few summers ago through Humber Sailing School and have sailed with Humber Sailing Club the past two summers on J24's, Martin's and Catalinas and have done some casual racing there. I love to be on the water and I'm eager to learn. Please contact Helen McGillivray at helen@mindoverdyslexia.ca or 905-464-4798

I have been sailing for 4 years and have completed OYS White Sail I &II , North U Trim, ROC-M Licence and PCOC . Occasional raced both spin and white sail. Currently own a 26 ft sailboat, love sailing, looking forward to learning more and being part of a regular crew. Seeking crew position for 2012 Susan Hood and LO300.  Bernard Cvetkovik <bcvetkovik@yahoo.ca>

Looking to join a crew preferably a boat in the 22-25 range (what I will be i the market to buy down the road). Crewed past three season's on a 30 footer, various postions from tail, grind, pit and some limited bowman. Physically fit so bouncing around on the boat to do different tasks is not a problem. Have sailed on and off for a number of years so do know my way around a boat. Would be available generally all Tuesday nights (except for vacation) and the occasional Thursday and some local regatta's. Understand that this is racing with an objective to win. I can be contacted at gmcln@hotmail.com.

I am a recent graduate of the basic sailing course on the Shark 24s at Bronte Harbour Yacht Club.  I am looking to gain some more experience sailing on any size boat available.  I do not have racing experience but I am looking to learn.  I am looking to have fun on a more pleasure sailing style boat.  Please contact me at (289)337-9082,  Paul Dixon.

To post to the crewbank, please send an e-mail to crewbank@bhyc.on.ca .  Please include a description of your skillset/experience and / or what you're looking for in your sailing experience.
