Allan May, author of the book “Coincidence” will be joining us. Coincidence is about the Canadian tall ship the S/V Concordia which sank off the coast of Brazil in February of 2010. The 46 students and 8 teachers on-board at the time were all rescued. Allan’s book is not about the sinking but about the ship and his motivation to write a novel. The main character in the book, Melisssa is based on his real life daughter Karen who is one of our newest members of BHYC.
